TruAmp100

characteristic

The device has 5 LEDs, each representing 20% of the design life. If all five are on, you have between 80% and 100% of the service life remaining. When 4 are on, the remaining life is 60% to 80%. If only one LED is lit, it's time to plan on replacing the anode cell.

Less than 10% remaining when the last red LED blinks.

The useful life of the ion exchange membrane is estimated with an algorithm formulated while observing positive cell operation for over 35 years and is based on the positive cell surface.

Its compact size fits snugly into a wire lead and uses a Hall effect sensor to measure current.

Fits all wire sizes up to #2 cable, 13 mm (0.51 in) OD. Bipolar cells (16.1 SF) with a maximum ion exchange membrane surface area of 1.5 m^2.

* Includes wire centering device for smaller wires.

Includes standalone standard CR2032 battery and microprocessor.

It has the capacity to measure up to 125 amps and positive cells up to 1.5 m².

Battery voltage is monitored by a separate LED.

Cannot be reused.

Characteristic

The instrument is compatible with both plate, C and cylindrical.

When the button is pressed, the LED lights up.

Even after all the LEDs have been exhausted, the E-coat operator can use a hand-held ammeter to test the current through the anode cell.

We recommend installing a TruAmp100 Logger in each new positive cell/membrane shell/.

The TruAmp100 is a good option when budget constraints do not allow you to purchase a next-generation bipolar monitor (a PLC-based system that provides real-time current data and amp-hours).

Advantages

Anticipate spare parts purchases with ample headroom to avoid unplanned downtime or urgent orders.

No more guessing when to change the ion exchange membrane.

You can save money by purchasing a TruAmp100 for each anode cell on only one side of the tank.

Cells on the other side don't need cells because their current demand is very similar. If there are more than 20 cells on only one side, additional reduction is possible by purchasing TruAmp100 for every 3rd and 4th cell.

Cost effective and practical.
